The summer weather is settling in so the PTPI crew decided now is as good a time as ever to grab the rafting gear and head out. After a few instructions from Bláža in Lukavice, we took to the river  Morava and Mr Pšeja and Eliška were keen to set the standard with their first capsize only meters from the beginning line and since it looked like so much fun Anna wasn’t far behind. Trees and branches didn’t seem to be so glad to “see” us, so they tried their best to push us from the boats. Their victims appeared in the water, feeling all the water’s hospitality Thankfully it wasn’t too freezing, just cold, but what else do you need while paddling and sitting under the heat all day? For sure, an unexpected swim in the cold water .

It was 30^th of March… Being warned that it might be cold and snowy a little company of six people started to pack and to be ready for their long trip to Bystřec. Everything seemed to be calm. They were told that it would be just a teambuilding weekend. But they didn’t know what was waiting for them…

On Saturday March 17th we took on a 33km hike led by our two volunteers Megan and Anna kitted out in their best leprechaun attire in celebration of both Saint Patrick’s Day and the Welcoming of Spring. The fun started at the Plejády Clubhouse the night before with a slumber party style movie evening, then we were up bright an early taking only the brave with us to call in the spring. At the train station we met up with more members and friends of PTPI to get on a bus to Huzová and then by foot to Jiříkov.
