Last year Spring Welcoming was traditional unlike this March. We didn’t only welcome the spring but
also the morning sun. We met with many children from the youth club Plejády at the club on Friday
night, got into our sleeping bags so we could wake up early. We walked towards the “Green House”
which overlooks the whole town and waited for the sun. We went further north to Prabába to enjoy
(hopefully) the last snow and play in it. At 9 am it was all over and we could go home dry our clothes.
Modern town with rich history, interesting cultural events and international car race Ecce Homo. We are encouraging you to visit the Šternberk castle – national cultural sight, and to take a tour around the town’s conservation area and try out the interactive information stands.
