The Venice of Haná – June 11th, 2011

We are not lazy, we like to help when a friend asks as to and that’s how we got to take part in a

cultural event in the town of Litovel which is called The Venice of Haná (because the town itself is

sometimes called Venice of the region Haná ). A group of our members could get a true Venetian

experience on a gondola. Litovel is famous for many branches of the river Morava and we rode

people on little boats on the canal Nečíz under the main square. It wasn’t an adventure for people

who are scared of the dark and spiders but it was very popular. Some of us were nearly dead at the

end of the day, however we promised to come back next year.
