  • Helča! ! Mother of the whole chapter. She judges our ideas by her common sense and that’s why we prevent any issues.

  • Bláža. ! Modern hero fighting smoking and people who are insensitive to nature.

  • Eliška! Our president. Tough on everyone, but mostly on herself.

  • Endy! Loves his bohemian lifestyle and his hometown. He needs good coffee and friends to make him happy.

  • Terka! She’d love to live in Spain, but we wouldn’t give up this jewel of our organization.

  • Ferda! Motorcyclist who just needs a mentor to make great things happen.

  • Ondřej! Always ready to make every reasonable wish come true. Graphic and website designer, photographer.

  • Helča! ! If she loved her secretary work as much as food, she’d be the most productive secretary on the world.

  • Pepa! You hear politician in every word he says. His life is driven by women.

  • Ivča! Even though she loves venomous snakes and tuned cars, she is still tiny and cute girl.

  • Helena! The best housewife and cook. Whatever she cooks is a magnet at our PTPI events.

comment_48We have new translation for our web! Enjoy!

We ended this year how we started it, with the Candle party. We spent a Saturday evening in a Christmas atmosphere, with a Christmas tree and sweets. We saw pictures and heard about the travels of our members. It was different that the last Candle party, we met in the house of Charity, we weren’t as many and we mainly just looked at pictures from different seminars, conferences and projects we took part in. However we didn’t give up our tradition, we were still surrounded by many candles which brought the true Christmas spirit.

We take the name of our organisation very seriously – people to people. That’s why some of us again
dressed up as St. Nicolas, devil or an angel. We took a ride in a train from Olomouc to Horní Lideč to
make some children happy. The event was organized by Czech Railroads. According to the tradition
we gave little children sweets when they sang a song or told a poem to St. Nicolas. At the end of
the ride, the devils needed a break so they let their colleagues to continue in the train dragged by
steam locomotive. The train came back, therefore we had many new children to give sweets to. Even
thought there weren’t as many children on the train as last years, the devils could still choose from
many naughty kids.

The last Friday of summer holiday was finally warm and the Augustinian monastery where the summer cinema is located was packed. We saw experimental short movie by Viktor Genčur shot by still video camera. Then we watched the American movie Requiem for a Dream. This time we ate after the movie – grilled sausages while watching the fireworks. Who wasn‘t too tired went to the dungeon of the monastery for a banquet and watch the concert of a local band Cosmopolitan People. Thanks again to all the visitors who came to support us and our sponsors who made the summer cinema happen – the town of Šternberk, Lesy České Republiky and People to People International.
